Archives store multiple revisions of the same file.
Archives are very compact because they are compressed and the whole file is only stored once with all other revisions only storing the changes to the file.
You can add new revisions manually or they are automatically added to the archive by other AJC programs.
You can extract any version of the file giving unlimited undo capabilities.
You can compare any revisions in the archive using the built in Diff program to see what has changed.
Find out when a certain piece of text was added to a file by using the powerful tool to search the differences between revisions.
You can delete any revisions manually or automatically using the purge option.
A description can be entered against a file revision for marking a key point in the file’s history, e.g. "Updated copyright section and proof read by JP".
